Job Description

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a mission-driven organization in the healthcare sector to identify their next Vice President of Human Resources.

  • Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 base salary (plus annual bonus and excellent benefits)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

What will your day look like?

  • Executive HR Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with organizational goals, balancing innovation with compliance.
  • Talent & Culture Leadership: Oversee all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and retention strategies.
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on workforce trends, succession planning, and employee relations.
  • Policy & Compliance Oversight: Ensure HR practices meet all federal/state laws, with a strong focus on consistency, equity, and risk mitigation.
  • Systems & Analytics: Lead HR technology optimization and use data to drive continuous improvement in workforce performance and satisfaction.

Who are you?

  • Seasoned HR Executive: 10+ years in HR leadership roles, including 5+ years at the VP or senior director level.
  • Healthcare Insight: Prior experience in a healthcare, clinical, or patient services environment is strongly preferred.
  • People-First Leader: Track record of building inclusive cultures, developing leaders, and improving employee engagement.
  • Change Champion: Proven success navigating organizational change, restructuring, or rapid growth with resilience and transparency.
  • Credentialed Professional: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
