IMPACT ATTENUATOR
In this project we perform computational simulation of an impact attenuator made up of beverage tins, the model is created in a CAD software & crash analysis ( Explicit Dynamic - Non-linear Analysis) is done on CAE software. we evaluate energy absorption and plot the internal energy graph, by observing the deformation behavior, we predict the effectiveness in terms of energy absorption capacity. The aim of the project is to design and develop an impact attenuator for the Formula Student Car in an economic and innovative manner.
