ABOUT THIS JOB :

Our International Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting Nulo's international market expansion in all aspects of product and retail marketing. An experienced CPG international marketing specialist, this person will partner with our internal team, distributors, and retailers to develop and implement strategies that influence retailers and consumers. They will manage the development of training materials, sales and retailer materials, social media content, and packaging projects. Each market has various needs and structures, so this person must be adaptable, collaborative, and a creative problem solver. This individual is commercially minded, exhibits strong project management skills, and is a creative problem solver.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Partner with the international sales and operations teams to understand regional objectives, then champion solutions with the internal marketing/creative teams. Establish and direct the development and execution of marketing strategies across all international markets and distributors, with a primary focus on Europe and Canada. Perform business & competitive analysis; understand specialty pet food retail and consumer insights to create meaningful and impactful programs. Initiate creative briefs and ownership of packaging finalization (graphics, materials, size, etc.), website, CRM, and other owned assets. Commercialize renovations and innovations including go-to market plans (branding, pricing, benchmarks, promotion, etc.), influencing cross functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Sales, Finance, Creative, and Brand Marketing. Participate in the development of annual operating and marketing plans. Make recommendations regarding product strategies, including assortment, pricing, promotion, and positioning activation by country or region. YOU ARE: Versatile with marketing experience influencing all elements of the marketing mix (product, packaging, pricing, promotion, and distribution) at retail and with distributors, in a high growth environment. Experienced working in international markets, which may include Europe, Canada, China, Korea, Mexico, and Australia Responsible, entrepreneurial mindset Demonstrated leadership and project management skills to manage project timelines and cross-functional teams with strong attention to details. Ability to think strategically while executing with excellence. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and focus on outcomes. Analytical skills in using data to make sound recommendations affecting business decisions and results. Culturally sensitive interpersonal skills and team player who empathically supports the cross functional team to commit to performance. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate recommendations in a respectful and fearless manner. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or related field 3+ years in international brand management, preferably within pet food or CPG. Fluent in different languages that could include French, Spanish, or Mandarin. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
