Responsibilities

Training Facilitator

• Lead engaging training sessions, both in-person and online, utilizing lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities.


• Identify learners' needs in instructional settings.


• Develop clear goals and expectations at the start of training sessions and set the tone accordingly.


• Assist with logistical arrangements and preferences for training delivery.


• Coordinate with the Government Training Manager and trainers regarding updates, requirements, and serve as the liaison for student inquiries, concerns, and feedback.

Instructional Designer

• Define learning objectives and create engaging content.


• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather relevant information based on learner needs.


• Design detailed storyboards outlining course structure and interactions.


• Develop online courses, assessments, and knowledge checks to evaluate training effectiveness.


• Create multimedia supporting materials, considering different learner needs and how materials are integrated into the curriculum.


• Recommend instructional strategies.


• Conduct needs assessments, analyze data, and propose solutions for identified discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Education or related field.


• Minimum of 8 years of experience in curriculum design; equivalent experience considered with a bachelors degree.


• Experience with NAVSEA Security Cooperation and FMS is preferred.


• Proficiency in adult learning principles and technology-based content creation.


• Ability to create engaging learning materials using various tools.


• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.


• Located within 100 miles of Washington, DC.
